What is a VPN?
VPN is a virtual private network that protects your data and identity. All your traffic comes from an intermediate server – a VPN server – where it is encrypted by one of the protocols (OpenVPN, L2TP, PPTP, IKEv2, IPsec or WireGuard).
VPN service allows you to surf securely from all places, including public Wi-Fi, without ISP tracking and data breaches. You can also choose the location of the VPN server to obtain geographical freedom and bypass censorship. Unfortunately, free VPN services provide unreliable service with low-speed connections and tracking your internet activities. Many paid services allow us to avoid downsides.
